I worked with Scope Group on the demolition of a Hangar in a live airport environment. The project required strict controls to prevent any lightweight building materials from being blown onto the airfield and to stop dust migration – these risks were managed successfully throughout the project. The dilapidated building provided plenty of challenges including unforeseen asbestos and structural elements in poor condition which required several changes in methodology. Throughout the project and challenges, Dans communication was excellent, providing regular updates and mitigating risks.
