And that’s a wrap, the North Otago Rugby Grandstand project was successfully completed by our expert demolition team. When it comes to demolishing large structures like rugby grandstands, we develop modern demolition practices which emphasize sustainability, with a strong focus on recycling and minimising our environmental impact. With our dust suppression system in place, our 23t excavator set to work strategically working along the grandstand to remove the roof allowing for the separation of the structural steel for recycling before demolishing the remaining structure. The end result was a tidy track rolled site ready for the construction team to get to work on the exciting new facility.
